Responsive website for Arts Council NPO

ARCADE Scarborough

ARCADE is a charitable community producing company based in Scarborough and Bridlington. With a mission to enable their community and artists to co-create high-quality cultural experiences that catalyze positive social change, ARCADE is dedicated to activating confidence and agency through creativity in children and young people, as well as inspiring and enabling working-class women and girls to reach their full potential. Through creative projects, workshops, shows, festivals, and events, ARCADE aims to make culture accessible to everyone.

To effectively communicate their mission and engage with their community, ARCADE needed a digital platform that was both visually appealing and accessible to all.

Our team worked closely with ARCADE to develop a custom-built website that addresses their specific needs. Key features of the project include:

  1. Responsive Design: The website is fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices, from desktops to smartphones and tablets. This allows ARCADE to reach a wider audience and engage with their community on the go.

  2. Innovative Text-to-Speech Accessibility Tool: We integrated a state-of-the-art text-to-speech accessibility tool to make the website usable for individuals with visual impairments or reading difficulties. This feature demonstrates ARCADE's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.

  3. Collaboration with In-House Designer: Our development team worked closely with ARCADE's in-house designer to bring their creative vision to life. By leveraging their expertise and incorporating their design elements, we were able to create a visually stunning and engaging website that aligns with ARCADE's brand identity.

  4. Clear and Concise Content: The website's content is well-organised and easy to navigate, allowing visitors to quickly find information about ARCADE's mission, projects, and events.

  5. Strong Call to Action: The website features clear calls to action, encouraging visitors to get involved, donate, or learn more about ARCADE's initiatives.
